OMG LOL SERIOUSLY?! HAHAHAHAAA
LOOK AT CAMERON vs MERKEL HAHAHAHAAA
A while back, I had a discussion with some friends about birthdays losing their magic. Like how when you’ve reached a certain point, birthdays just doesn’t feel like how they were supposed to be anymore. Somehow, I particularly agree with this. Thinking back I’m glad I had a little celebration with my high school friends on my 17th. Although it seems like just a trivial fun at the moment, now I realized the importance, because after that everything just went downhill. The excitement of birthdays are replaced with hesitation, especially when you’re nearing a milestone.
Well, this year it’s my 19th. My last year of being a teenager, my last chance to make it all count. So, in order to lighten up, I’ve decided to put on a wishlist. The idea came from the aforementioned friends. Their results aren’t too shabby either, Hana got 4/20 and Danu got 8/20. Since I’m turning 19 guess that means I only get to make 19 wishes huh? :p No prob, here goes nothing…
(DISCLAIMER: Super-random wishes ahead. Hey, this is for fun after all!)
1. Millefeuile or Rainbow Cake
I’ve always loved layered cakes. Not like the usual 3-layered sponge cake, but multilayered ones. A Strawberry Millefeuille would be my first choice… but due to recent hype I’m curious to know what a Rainbow Cake tastes like too.
2. Black studded or patterned boots
It’s no secret that I’m a big fan of boots, and I’d really love to expand my collection.
3. Accessories
This is also for collection. My favourites are the ones with keys or wing shaped charms.
4. An away football jersey
Again, a collection thing. Why away? Because home ones are too mainstream. LOL. Preferably something blue and diagonal. Or in the spirit of the Euro, a Germany one. Perhaps the awesome black one from 2010. Definitely not the current one though, because no matter how much I love Der Kaiser, that green shirt should just stay in his era.
5. Be able to go to South Korea this year
6. Learn archery
Okay, this one is because of the Hunger Games and Katniss Everdeen. Archery looks exciting to pick up. Or maybe I should learn some Mixed Martial Arts, that looks fun too.
7. A Moleskine sketchbook
My old sketchbook is running out! And I’ve always wanted a Moleskine, hehe.
8. A set of Copic Markers
They’re nice for drawing and colouring, and they come in wide variety of beautiful colours.
9. Philosophy fiction book
Ever since Chio introduced me to Orange Girl by Jostein Gaarder, I’ve fallen for this genre. It shows that philosophy can be interesting and it doesn’t have to be tedious at all. But I haven’t got the time to properly scour the bookstores to get his other works. Besides Gaarder, Paulo Coelho’s books also looks quite drawing.
10. Find a way to stay young
Maybe I should drink unicorn blood or something… Where’s Peter Pan when you need a lift to Neverland?
11. I want The Doctor to pick me up in his TARDIS!
Another solution for the above problem: simply go away with The Doctor! He’s got all of time and space in his grasp, do you really need to think twice? (But seriously, ever since I watched Doctor Who, I’ve always wanted to be a companion and go on those wacky adventures…)
12. Tim Burton by Antoine de Baecque
Saw this Tim Burton biography in aksara sometime ago and man, is it WONDERFUL. It’s got interviews, movie stills, behind-the-scenes, and skecthes by Mr. Burton himself (!!!). MUST. HAVE. ITTTT.
13. Someone singing Colplay’s “Fix You” to me
(Or, someone performing One Direction’s “What Makes You Beautiful”. That works too.)
14. More me-time and solo travelling
15. A dress
I was never really much a dress girl, so… maybe I’ll make an exception for Mary Katrantzou dresses. Her designs are always striking and very recognizable with the trademark vivid graphic prints and bold colors. It’s like looking at an ad at a magazine rather than a pattern. Seriously, google her. She’s awesome.
A “Girl on Fire” dress also would be nice. Not like the one in the movie though, that version sucks. The one described in the books, now THAT’S captivating.
16. The Virginz to have a 2nd Conference! ;D
17. Be able to ace the final tests and end this semester in a good way
18. For my Teenage Dream to come true
Truthfully, I just wanted to know what I’ve missed. And I don’t want to have regrets anymore :)
(If you know what my Teenage Dream is, then congratulations! If not, shame on you :p)
19. Well, last spot = obligatory yeyek spot. So hey you… get out get out get out of my head, and fall in to my arms insteaaad *nyanyi* Hmm, at least make me smile, won’t you? (dafuq did I just type omg)
Well that’s a wrap! Granted, there are other things that I want, but not everything can and should be shared, after all. So anyway, if you feel like helping a noble cause of making a little girl very happy you know what to do ;p
Thank you and props to you if you’re still here and still reading this, and just like what Alice would say: have a very merry unbirthday!

Fluro (by Annabel Wendt)
Okay, so: finished reading The Hunger Games. On progress with Catching Fire. Need to buy Mockingjay ASAP so I can keep the it going.
sidenote: found out that the series was rather cheap because they’re quite easily damaged (especially the cover. mine got chipped off in only a week(!)). to those who are intending to buy it, choose the hardcover version instead.

My mother said, ”It looks like District 12 may finally have a winner.” But she wasn’t talking about me. She was talking about you.

I’M GIVING AWAY FREE ART, SO PAY ATTENTION! :)
In celebration of my Etsy debut, I am doing a Doctor Who poster GIVE AWAY! I accidentally cut one of my “Hello, I’m the Doctor” prints (seen in these pictures) a little too small by an inch or two, and rather than list it as a separate item in my shop, I figured I’d do a give away for one lucky Whovian! Your prize is the pictured poster, which is a print of my original watercolor painting of Matt Smith as the 11th doctor and the text “hello, I’m the Doctor.” The poster was printed using a professional color printer on Epson Premium Luster Paper, and it’s about 16 x 22 inches. In other words, a great addition to any fan’s collection! If you win, you can look at those dreamy Matt Smith eyes any time you want. :) I’ll also be throwing in a couple of other small Doctor Who prints and maybe even a sketch if I have time. This is my first give-away, after all, and I’m super excited!
Rules! Because we need to have a few, right?
- Only reblogs count, but you don’t have to be following me to win! Following is nice if you like what I post, but not necessary to win. AND YA GOTTA REBLOG THE CONTEST RULES (which is the entirety of this text post), YA HEAR?!
- Er, don’t reblog more than once a day, because that’s just annoying, right?
- Don’t steal my image, because I worked super hard on it and that’s illegal, yo.
- I will ship worldwide! :)
- Give-away ends: March 10th. That day, I will use a random number generator to determine a winner!
- Make sure your ask box is open so I can contact you if you win! I’ll also make a post declaring the winner. If you don’t respond in 48 hours, I will choose another winner.
And there you have it! I’m very excited about this, and I hope you guys are too! For more info about this print, check out the item’s Etsy listing. To check out my other Doctor Who artwork, visit my shop! :) Good luck!
